Nick O'Neill President and Co-Founder Nick has always felt a deep connection with animals and always found comfort around them. The more he learned about all species of animals, especially farm animals, the more he wanted to create a safe space where he could provide sanctuary for the misunderstood and mistreated. To make his dream a reality, he and his wife, Rachael, moved from their home in Long Beach, CA to a small horse community in Norco, CA and started 2nd Street Hooligans Rescue. Nick is committed to educating the public about the cruel realities facing animals that are used for food, laboratory testing, entertainment or other purposes, and showing people that a cruelty free lifestyle is possible.
